To ensure a smooth and comfortable start to your journey, please provide the name of your hotel, accommodation, or preferred pickup location in Arusha when making your booking.
Our guide will meet you at the agreed pickup point at the confirmed time. We kindly recommend being ready at the hotel reception or designated meeting point approximately 10 minutes before departure.
If you are unsure about your pickup location, simply share your accommodation details and our team will be happy to assist with the arrangements.
Following the crater game drive, you return by road to Arusha, with drop-off at the same hotel expected in the evening or meeting point.

1Ngorongoro Crater
Descend through the forested slopes of Ngorongoro into a remarkable landscape of open grasslands, wetlands and acacia woodland. Spend the day exploring the crater floor with your guide, watching for lion, elephant, buffalo, hippo, zebra, wildebeest and, with a little luck, the elusive black rhino. Rather than rushing from sighting to sighting, the experience allows time to observe — a pride of lions resting in the grass, herds moving across the plains, or hippos gathered in the shallows. Along the way, your guide shares insight into the wildlife, landscapes and natural rhythms of the crater. Pause for a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your game drive, then ascend the crater walls in the afternoon. 2Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Pause along the crater rim for your first sweeping view across the Ngorongoro Crater. From here, the vast caldera unfolds below grasslands, forests and seasonal wetlands enclosed by steep volcanic walls. It is a quiet moment to take in the scale of the landscape before descending to the crater floor for the day’s game drive.

Pause for a picnic lunch beside the Ngoitokitok wetlands, surrounded by the open landscapes of the crater floor. Hippos can often be seen resting in the water while waterbirds move along the shoreline. It is a relaxed break from the game drive. time to enjoy lunch, take in the surroundings and simply watch life around the water before continuing your exploration.
