  Baddeck

  Visit the beautiful lakeside village of Baddeck, one of Cape Breton’s most charming communities, located on the shores of the Bras d’Or Lake. Baddeck is known for its peaceful waterfront, local shops, restaurants, marina views, and strong connection to Alexander Graham Bell. The main highlight is the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site, a fascinating museum dedicated to the life, inventions, and achievements of Bell, best known as the inventor of the telephone.   Your tour ends back at the Port of Sydney, at the same location where you were picked up. This convenient drop-off gives guests plenty of time to return safely to their cruise ship. Before boarding, you may also enjoy a short walk along the beautiful Sydney waterfront boardwalk and take photos with the famous World’s Largest Fiddle, one of Cape Breton’s most popular landmarks.
