Host Story
Originally from California, Kevin moved to Buenos Aires decades ago to immerse himself in what he calls the "spiritual practice of tango"—and ever since it’s been a dream come true for him.
Together with María – a Latin Grammy-nominated tango singer born in Buenos Aires – they formed their band the María Volonté | Blue Tango Project, touring globally to explore the deep intersection of tango and blues.
When we aren't on tour, we love opening our historic home to travelers from around the globe and sharing our deep passion for the music, culture, and soul of Buenos Aires.

We host our experience in a private residence in a historic building near the corner of Av de Mayo and Salta. We will send you exact coordinates and contact info upon booking.

Behind the Experience
Nestled in a landmark early-1900s building that once operated as a luxury hotel, our home is a living homage to the golden age of tango. Created and curated by Argentine Latin Grammy nominee María Volonté, this space was restored to offer a true puertas cerradas (closed-door) sanctuary.
Here, world-class acoustic music, warm hospitality, and historic charm come together to give travelers an authentic, home-hosted taste of Buenos Aires culture.
