This visit to St. Peter's Basilica consists of priority entry, so a quick entrance, and an audio guide in various languages so you can listen to the history of the basilica on your phone. It's recommended to bring headphones. You have a specific time slot to visit the dome, and it's strongly advised to stick to the schedule. You have the option to go by elevator (about 300 steps by elevator and 251 on foot) or by stairs (551 steps on foot). It's not suitable for those who suffer from claustrophobia or vertigo. Not accessible with strollers or large luggage. Once you’ve visited the dome, you can explore the basilica and the papal tombs. After the visit, you will exit the basilica to enter the square.
