Private San José Can-Am Tour: Desert Trails, Beach & Tacos
This is a private guide-driven Can-Am adventure outside San José del Cabo. It is not an airport transfer or black-car service. Guests are picked up, taken to the Baja desert adventure route near Caduaño and the East Cape, ride through scenic off-road trails in a Can-Am Maverick X3, stop for photos, beach views, and tacos, then return to their pickup location.
1. Booking Confirmed
After booking, the guest receives confirmation for a private Can-Am adventure. The guest should provide their hotel, villa, Airbnb, restaurant, or meeting point, plus the number of travelers.
We confirm pickup time, pickup location, group size, and any special needs such as infant seat request, mobility concerns, or food restrictions.
2. Pre-Tour Message
Before the tour, we send the guest a message with pickup details, guide contact information, what to wear, and what to bring.
Guests are reminded to wear comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes or secure sandals, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat. The route can be dusty and bumpy, so light adventure clothing is recommended.
3. Pickup
The guide picks up guests from their selected pickup location.
Pickup is available from select areas including San José del Cabo, Puerto Los Cabos, Flora Farms area, Acre area, Costa Azul, Tourist Corridor, and Cabo San Lucas by request.
Guests staying farther from San José del Cabo may have an earlier pickup time.
4. Welcome and Safety Overview
At the start of the adventure, the guide explains the route, timing, safety rules, and what to expect.
Guests are reminded that this is a guide-driven ride-along experience. Guests do not drive the Can-Am. Seat belts must remain fastened while the vehicle is moving.
5. Desert Trail Ride
The adventure begins through the Baja desert outside San José del Cabo near Caduaño and the East Cape.
Guests ride in a high-performance Can-Am Maverick X3 through desert roads, cactus landscapes, dry river washes, mountain views, and off-road trail sections.
The ride is fun, scenic, and private without the chaos of a crowded ATV convoy.
6. Photo Stops
The guide stops at scenic locations for photos and videos.
Stops may include cactus scenery, desert overlooks, arroyo trails, mountain views, and beach or ocean viewpoints depending on weather, road conditions, and timing.
7. Beach or East Cape Viewpoint
When route conditions allow, the tour includes a beach viewpoint or East Cape scenery stop.
This gives guests a chance to enjoy the contrast of Baja desert, mountains, and Sea of Cortez views.
8. Local Taco Stop
The tour includes a casual local taco stop so guests can enjoy real Baja flavor during the adventure.
Food options may vary depending on the day, route, and local availability.
9. Return Ride
After the taco stop and final photos, the guide begins the return route.
Guests ride back through desert roads and scenic Baja terrain toward San José del Cabo or their selected drop-off area.
10. Drop-Off
Guests are dropped off at their original pickup location or another nearby approved location if arranged in advance.
The guide makes sure guests have their belongings and answers any questions before ending the experience.
11. Route Flexibility
This is a private experience, so the route may be adjusted for weather, road conditions, guest comfort, timing, or safety.
The guide may modify stops if roads are rough, closed, flooded, too dusty, or unsafe.
12. Safety Rules
Guests must follow guide instructions at all times.
Seat belts must stay fastened while riding.
No standing in the vehicle while moving.
No unsafe behavior, intoxication, or reckless actions are allowed.
The guide may end the activity early if guests ignore safety rules.

It is also not recommended for pregnant travelers or guests with serious back, neck, heart, or mobility problems.
15. Contingencies
If a guest is running late, they should contact the guide as soon as possible. Pickup delays may shorten the tour if another booking is scheduled later.
If weather or road conditions are unsafe, the route may be changed or the tour may be rescheduled when possible.
If a guest does not appear at the pickup location and cannot be reached, the booking may be treated as a no-show according to the cancellation policy.
16. Service Standards
The Can-Am is prepared before the tour.
The guide provides a friendly, private, safety-focused experience.
Bottled water is included.
Photos and scenic stops are part of the experience.
No guest photos are published without permission.
