3Ocean Communication Hall Garinko Station
Ride Hokkaido's popular drift icebreaker in the Sea of Okhotsk and experience the spectacular winter drift ice (Ryu-hyo in Japanese) scenery up close. The ship is equipped with a large spiral drill that breaks through the ice, offering a unique and exciting ice-breaking journey.

4Okhotsk Tower
Okhotsk Tower, the northernmost marine observation tower in Japan, located at the end of the breakwater outside Monbetsu Port. Stand high up to take in the vast Sea of Okhotsk and Monbetsu Port. During the winter drift ice season, you can overlook the endless drift ice sea (Admission fee paid separately).
