After pickup from your hotel in Arusha, travel in a private safari vehicle to the forested slopes of Mount Meru. Explore the park’s varied landscapes, including montane forest, open grasslands, crater viewpoints and the colourful Momella Lakes. Look for giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, waterbuck, blue monkeys and the park’s famous black-and-white colobus monkeys. Bird enthusiasts can also enjoy excellent opportunities to observe flamingos, waterbirds and forest species.
