Continue into the timeless landscapes surrounding Morondava, where enormous baobabs rise above the red earth like ancient guardians. Explore the world-famous Avenue of the Baobabs in daylight, admire its monumental trees and visit the sacred Baobab Amoureux, or Lovers’ Baobab — two magnificent trunks entwined in what appears to be an eternal embrace.
After returning to Morondava for lunch and a short break, you will set out once again in the late afternoon for the highlight of the day: sunset at the Avenue of the Baobabs.
As the sun disappears below the horizon, the sky glows with shades of gold, orange, pink and purple, while the ancient baobabs become dramatic silhouettes against the evening light
