1Mutianyu Great Wall
Explore the spectacular Mutianyu Great Wall with your choice of two different descent experiences. Option 1: Enclosed Cable Car Experience Take the enclosed cable car to Watchtower No. 14, then begin your hike along the western section of the Great Wall. Walk through historic watchtowers and enjoy breathtaking mountain views. The route is moderate and suitable for most travelers, including families with children. For a greater challenge, continue hiking to Watchtower No. 20, the highest point of Mutianyu, where you will be rewarded with panoramic views. After exploring the wall, return to Watchtower No. 14 and take the enclosed cable car back down. Option 2: Chairlift & Toboggan Experience Choose the fun and adventurous option: take the chairlift cable car to Watchtower No. 6 and enjoy a thrilling toboggan ride down the mountain after your Great Wall visit.
