    Arrive at the traditional house next to Shohachiman Shrine to put on your headband and happi coat. Get ready for the Festival Procession Experience! You will be marching through the town alongside the festival floats and locals, as the deity travels through the community to meet the local people.

    We will be experiencing the festival through the following highlights: ・"Miya-iri" (Shrine Entry): Watch 5 district floats parade and clash in rhythm within the shrine grounds. ・"Jomaijo" : Watch the sacred Dragon Dance offering (approx. 7 minutes). ・Break: Introduction to the festival float decorations, at the traditional house next to Shohachiman Shrine. ・"Neri-awase" (Float Performance) ・"Miya-de" (Shrine Departure): Watch all 5 floats perform together as they leave the shrine. Before departing, we will enjoy a brief talk from Mr. Kameyama, chief priest of Shohachiman Shrine. Note: Times and order of events are subject to change.
