Crusader Welcome! Bizarre rock masses of 100% volcanic rock; hot coast, cool inland: Accompanied by Don, the German emigrant in the Cape Verde Islands, we head to Assomada in the heart of the island on this trip, where the market, the large pedestrian zone with the church and open square, several statues of our heroes, ancestors and conquerors, and of course the 800-year-old and 30-meter-thick giant tree Poilão are the sights. We show you great angles for shooting photos and tell you the best tips from over four years of expatriate experience! The finale is a Groggu - beer - and fruit juice tasting, which we exclusively offer!

Our visit to Assomada, "the most African city in Cape Verde"! Including a private Groggu tasting, a high-proof spirit made from sugarcane! It's also served as a punch. In Assomada, you'll also sample Igor's home-brewed beer and sip freshly blended fruit juices. The tasting is, of course, included in the price.
