1. You Walk With Rhinos*
This is the big one. Mosi-oa-Tunya is the _only_ park in Zambia where you can do a guided walking safari to see white rhinos on foot.
You’re with an armed ranger, tracking them on foot, and watching them graze from 20-30m away. No vehicle between you and the rhino. It’s calm, quiet, and super intimate. Most other parks you only see rhinos from a jeep.

2. It's Right Next to Victoria Falls*
10 minutes from Livingstone Town. You don’t need a flight or overnight safari to do this.

3. Zambezi River Backdrop*
The park runs along the Zambezi River upstream of Victoria Falls. So on your game drive you’re seeing giraffe and zebra with the river + gorge in the background. Great for photos, and you often see hippos and crocs from the vehicle too.

You get land + walking + conservation + Falls proximity all in 2 hours. That combo doesn’t exist anywhere else this close to Victoria Falls.

    Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park

    Mosi-oa-Tunya is the only park in Zambia where you can do a walking safari to see white rhinos on foot. It’s small but perfect for a half-day combo. Morning Option: 07:00 – 11:30 07:00 – 07:15: Hotel Pick-up in Livingstone Town Transfer to the park gate. ∼10 minutes from town. 07:15 – 08:45: Game Drive in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park 1.5 hour drive in an open 4x4 with a park ranger/guide. : Giraffe, zebra, buffalo, impala, warthog, puku, and lots of birdlife and Elephants. 08:45 – 11:00: Rhino Walk Park, meet your armed ranger, and do a guided walking safari. Highlight: Track and observe the park’s white rhinos on foot from a safe distance. You’ll learn about rhino conservation, tracks, and dung. 11:00 – 11:30: Return Drive + Drop-off Short game drive back to the gate and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon Option: 15:00 – 18:30 Same structure but later. The 15:00 game drive is cooler and animals are more active. The sunset over the Zambezi after is beautiful.
