What to expect

We will tour different environments of the reserve, including wetlands, lagoons, native forest, grasslands and viewpoints over the Río de la Plata.

The pace of the hike and observation points suit your interests, whether it’s intensive birdwatching with checklists and target species, nature photography or a relaxed experience to discover the biodiversity of Buenos Aires.

Depending on the time of year and the conditions of the day, it is possible to observe waterfowl, raptors, migratory birds and many species typical of the Pampian wetlands, in one of the most important areas of urban biodiversity in South America.

We have a long-range telescope to appreciate birds up close and, if you don’t have your own, also shared binoculars.

There will be frequent opportunities for wildlife photography, with practical advice from the guide and photographer throughout the activity.

Comfortable footwear, sunscreen, insect repellent and water are recommended. In case of heavy rains the activity can be rescheduled or cancelled for safety.
