At the Asylum of Peace, you will discover the most authentic and intriguing side of Floreana. After an entertaining bike tour, we will walk through the site where the human history of the island began: explore the stone caves that served as a refuge for the first settlers and pirates, and walk trails surrounded by unique volcanic formations and labyrinths. The most exciting point of the tour will be to come face to face with the majestic giant turtles of Floreana in their natural environment

At this stop, travelers will visit a local estate to live closely the agricultural and sustainable side of the Galapagos. They will walk among the crops to know how the land is produced on a volcanic island, observing the different seasonal products harvested in Floreana. Playa Negra is a fascinating stop and the perfect place to relax after pedaling. Travelers will be surprised to walk on its unusual and bright volcanic sand, which contrasts beautifully with the blue sea. It is an ideal place to rest next to sea lions and iguanas that usually rest on the shore, enjoy the coastal landscape and cool with the ocean breeze in one of the quietest and most photogenic corners of Floreana.
