    "Eagle's Nest" Dramatically perched atop a mountain ridge, this historic building offers a spectacular and unforgettable experience. Guests travel up a specialized mountain road and then ascend in a brass-lined elevator carved through solid rock to reach the teahouse at 1,834 meters (6,017 ft). The site is most famous for its stunning 360-degree panoramic views of the Bavarian and Austrian Alps. (Note: The Eagle's Nest is typically open only from May to late October due to snow. Advance booking for the specialized bus transfer is highly recommended.)
