  • The Vessel (Pass by)

    You start at Hudson Yards in front of Vessel. This beehive-shaped bronze structure is 150 feet high. You can’t upload because access is closed, but the view from the base is stunning for photos. Spend 10 minutes maximum. From here you take the entrance to the High Line at 30th Street.

    The High Line

    You walk 1.45 miles through this elevated park on old train tracks. You go at a fast pace but enjoying gardens, public art and viewpoints. Do not stop more than 2 or 3 minutes per point. The best stretches are between 24th and 14th Streets, where you see historic buildings and the Hudson River.

    Chelsea Market

    Just off the High Line at 15th Street, you can walk 5 minutes to Chelsea Market. It's inside the old Oreo cookie factory. Just to see the main hallway and take in air conditioning. There's no time to eat.

    Little Island

    You walk 5 minutes from the High Line exit to Little Island at Pier 55. This floating park has 132 tulip-shaped pillars. Spend 30 minutes walking its rolling trails, climbing the artificial hills and seeing the Hudson River. It's the perfect closing of the tour. If you're near sunset, the better.
