Join us for a walk along the rim of the Bryce Canyon amphitheater under the light of the full moon! Enjoy scientific facts, cultural stories, and the history behind the Bryce Canyon Hoodoos and the stars as we explore in the moonlight. End your experience by viewing the moon through our high powered telescopes while you enjoy hot chocolate and learn all about our lunar companion.

Meeting and pickup

Pickup points
You can choose a pickup location at checkout (multiple pickup locations are available).
Pickup details:

Look for our black A-frame sign with our logo labeled "Shuttle Stop." Your tour guide will reach out to you on the day of the tour to confirm pick-up details and answer any questions you may have.

Park at Sunset point. Your guide will be waiting with a redlight at the bus stop to guide you to the rim where we will begin our safety briefing.

What to expect

Join us for an unforgettable evening walk along the Rim Trail in Bryce Canyon National Park, starting at Sunset Point, as we trace the edge of the amphitheater under the glow of the full moon! As we make our way along the trail, you'll discover the fascinating science behind how the park's famous hoodoos were carved over millions of years. Along the way, we'll share cultural stories and the rich history connected to this iconic landscape, as well as the stars and constellations lighting up the night sky above us. To close out the evening, you'll have the chance to view the moon up close through our high-powered telescopes while you sip hot chocolate and learn all about our lunar companion.

Tours operate 2 days before and 2 days after the full moon.
