Discover its impressive stone structure, historic galleries, and iconic clock tower while learning about its rich past. From the castle’s highest points, enjoy a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view over the entire city of Gjirokastër and the surrounding valley.

    Gjirokastra Bazaar

    Explore the charming Old Bazaar of Gjirokastër, famous for its five characteristic cobblestone streets that lead to the heart of the market known as “Qafa e Pazarit.” Surrounded by traditional artisan shops, cozy bars, and local restaurants, visitors will be captivated by the unique architecture and historic atmosphere. The Bazaar is also home to the historic Bazaar Mosque. During the tour, we will explore all the main streets of the bazaar and make several panoramic and historical stops along the way. During the experience, we will also enjoy a traditional dessert made in Gjirokastër.
