Pickup and drop-off follow the same policy as all our tours: for travelers staying in the South Zone (Zona Sul), we pick you up directly at your hotel. For travelers staying elsewhere in Rio, we'll arrange a convenient meeting point. Once in Rocinha, part of the route up the hillside is done by motorcycle taxi, a common and safe local transport method used throughout the community, your guide will accompany you the entire way. The same pickup logic applies for drop-off at the end of the tour.
Exit the metro at São Conrado station through Exit A. Your guide will be waiting just outside, holding a sign with your name.
Your local guide, a Rocinha resident, leads you through the community on foot and by motorcycle taxi, visiting a scenic viewpoint, a craft fair, and a local cultural project, with genuine opportunities to interact with residents along the way.
