    Kilimanjaro National Park

    Travelers will be picked up from Arusha or Moshi and driven to Marangu Gate in Kilimanjaro National Park. After registration, the hike begins through a beautiful tropical rainforest on the lower slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Along the trail, travelers will walk under tall forest trees, cross small streams, and enjoy fresh mountain air. The area is home to wildlife such as colobus monkeys and many bird species, which may be seen along the way. The hike continues at a steady pace to Mandara Hut (2,700m), where travelers can rest, enjoy their packed lunch, and take in views of the forest and mountain environment. After spending time at the hut, the group will descend back through the same scenic rainforest trail to Marangu Gate. After the hike, travelers will be transferred back to their hotel in Arusha or Moshi, completing a full-day Kilimanjaro experience.
