This itinerary does not include transportation from Kibune back to Demachiyanagi Station. You can find restaurants and cafes with beautiful environment in Kibune, some also provide seasonal Kawadoko dining experience (From May 1st to September 30th), with meals served on seating platforms built over the river.
We recommend taking your time to enjoy lunch in Kibune before returning by bus or walking to Kibuneguchi Station, then taking the Eizan Railway back to Demachiyanagi Station.

This is where the Kurama Fire Festival is held. We will see Osugisan, the 800-year-old cedar tree that stands at 53m, is known to attract spirits. Wrapped in Shimenawa, a rope to mark a thing as sacred, makes dreams come true for those who pray to it sincerely

3Kifune Shrine
With more than 1,300 years, it is dedicated to the deity of water and has long been a place where people pray for rain, safe travels, and good relationships.
