  Your experience begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel or accommodation in Marrakech. Meet your driver/guide and leave the city behind as you travel toward the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains. During the drive, your guide will introduce you to the region and explain what you can expect throughout the day. Approximate departure: 3:00–4:00 PM The exact pickup time can be adjusted depending on the season and sunset time.

  As you approach the Atlas Mountains, the landscape begins to change dramatically. Enjoy several scenic stops around the valleys to take photographs and admire the spectacular views of: Traditional Berber villages Green valleys and terraced fields Mountain landscapes Local rivers and streams Traditional farming areas The dramatic peaks of the High Atlas Your local guide will also share information about the region, including Berber/Amazigh traditions, village life, agriculture, and the history of the High Atlas Mountains.   Moroccan Mint Tea & Argan Oil Cooperative Continue your journey with a relaxing stop at a local Argan oil cooperative. Here, you can learn how Argan oil is traditionally produced and discover how local communities use the different parts of the Argan tree. You’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy a traditional Moroccan mint tea, accompanied by local hospitality. Depending on availability, you may see local women demonstrating traditional Argan oil production and learn about the cooperative's role in supporting local families. Optional: You can purchase locally produced Argan oil and other Moroccan products directly from the cooperative.

  f your tour takes place on Tuesday or Saturday, you may have the opportunity to visit a traditional local weekly market. These markets are an important part of everyday life in rural Morocco. You can experience the atmosphere of a genuine local souk and see how villagers come together to buy and sell: Fresh fruits and vegetables Spices Local food Traditional household products Clothing Handmade items Livestock and agricultural products Your guide will help you understand the traditions and daily life behind the market.   High Atlas Mountains

  Arrive in the High Atlas Mountains & Short Hike Continue deeper into the High Atlas Mountains and arrive in the mountain area. After a short break, begin a short and enjoyable hike through the mountain landscape. The hike is designed to allow you to experience the mountains without requiring advanced hiking experience. During the walk, you’ll discover: Berber villages Mountain paths Terraced farmland Valleys and streams Local landscapes Panoramic mountain views Your guide will walk with you and explain the local environment and traditional way of life. Hiking difficulty: Easy to moderate Approximate hiking time: 40min–1 hour Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

  Sunset Over the High Atlas Mountains After the hike, find a peaceful viewpoint to enjoy one of the most beautiful moments of the experience: sunset over the High Atlas Mountains. Relax, take photographs, and watch the changing colors of the mountains as the sun disappears behind the peaks. On clear days, you can enjoy impressive views toward Mount Toubkal, the highest mountain in North Africa, reaching approximately 4,167 meters. This is the perfect moment to slow down, enjoy a cup of Moroccan tea, and take in the atmosphere of the Atlas Mountains.
