The session includes a professional demonstration, tasting of matcha tea, and a hands-on experience of making matcha yourself. As an option, you can also enjoy the experience while wearing a kimono.

If your pick-up location, such as a train station or hotel, is within a 5 km radius, transportation can be arranged by private vehicle. (Additional transportation fees may apply based on prior consultation.) Please note that depending on existing bookings before or after your reservation time, transportation may not be available.

What to expect

During the one-hour session, you will learn about the history and background of the tea ceremony, watch a demonstration of making matcha, enjoy traditional sweets and matcha, and finally try making your own bowl of matcha.
