You pour your own pint of stout, behind the bar, at the first stop. Most visitors only ever watch. The music comes to you. Live trad musicians play for our group, so you're in the middle of the session, not stuck at the back of a crowded bar. Your night on camera. We capture it on a digicam, so you go home with photos that actually feel like the night.

What to expect

Galway's West End comes alive with trad music every night, and this is your way in.

Start at Mary Mullens by pouring your own pint of stout behind the bar. Then your local guide takes you through four pubs, each with live trad, where Galway musicians actually play. A drink is included at every stop, along with stories along the way and a Polaroid to take home.
