Khufu Solar Boat Step into the presence of a 4,500-year-old miracle of ancient engineering. The Solar Boat of King Khufu — hand-crafted from Lebanese cedar and assembled without a single nail — was buried beside the Great Pyramid to carry the pharaoh alongside the sun god Ra on his eternal journey. Fully restored and displayed with state-of-the-art technology, this is one of the oldest intact wooden vessels on earth and an unmissable highlight of the GEM.
