Nestled in the cool and refreshing forests of Nanshan Mountain, Lao Jun Cave is a renowned Taoist temple often called the first Taoist temple in eastern Sichuan. Founded over a thousand years ago during the Sui and Tang dynasties, this serene sanctuary is built around ancient caves and follows a mystical Fengshui layout, blending its halls harmoniously into the wooded hillside. Visitors can enjoy the crisp mountain air while exploring historic halls, Ming dynasty stone carvings of Taoist legends, and panoramic city views from the Southern Heavenly Gate. Laolong Cave is a fascinating karst cave known for its cool and mysterious underground environment.
