What to expect
The experience begins with a brief introduction to the cultural background of Batik and Tie-Dye in Ghana. Participants will then learn how fabrics are prepared, folded, tied, patterned, and decorated using traditional techniques.
With guidance from an experienced instructor, you will create your own unique fabric design. You will have the opportunity to experiment with different patterns and colours and take part in the dyeing process. The instructor will demonstrate each step and provide assistance throughout the activity, making the experience suitable for beginners.
