Tokyo Japanese Incense Ceremony and Mindfulness Class

2 hours (approximately)
Offered in: Japanese and 1 more

The history of Japan’s fragrance culture began in 538 with a single piece of driftwood, agarwood, that washed ashore on Awaji Island. After that, through the Heian, Kamakura, and Edo periods, it was loved by nobles, military commanders, and townspeople, and fragrance culture blossomed.
