Day 1
Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park
Your shared camping safari begins in Arusha, where you will meet your driver guide and the other travelers joining the group. After a short briefing, depart for Tarangire National Park, a scenic drive of about two to three hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Tarangire is well known for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and the Tarangire River, which attracts wildlife throughout the year. During the game drive, you may see lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, impalas and many bird species. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park at a designated picnic area. In the afternoon, continue exploring different sections of Tarangire before leaving the park and driving to Mto wa Mbu. On arrival, settle in at Fanaka Campsite, where your safari chef will prepare dinner. Overnight will be in a tent at the campsite, with shared bathroom facilities and a relaxed group atmosphere.

Day 2
Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park
After breakfast at Fanaka Campsite, leave Mto wa Mbu and begin the journey toward Serengeti National Park. The route passes through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with changing landscapes, highland views and possible wildlife sightings along the road. You will stop at selected viewpoints and continue through the Naabi Hill Gate, the main entrance to the Serengeti. After completing park formalities, enjoy a picnic lunch and begin your first game drive across the open plains. The Serengeti is home to large populations of lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, cheetahs, leopards and many grazing animals. Wildlife sightings depend on the season and natural animal movement, so every game drive is different. In the late afternoon, continue toward the Seronera area in Central Serengeti. Dinner will be prepared by the safari chef, and you will spend the night in a tent at Seronera Public Campsite, surrounded by the sounds of the wilderness.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast at Fanaka Campsite, depart from Mto wa Mbu and drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This protected area is unique because wildlife, livestock and Maasai communities share the same landscape. Along the route, you may see zebras, giraffes, wildebeest and Maasai herders moving with their cattle across the highlands. You will visit a traditional Maasai boma, where members of the local community will introduce you to their homes, clothing, traditions, livestock culture and daily way of life. The visit offers an opportunity to learn how Maasai families continue to live within the conservation area. Photography should always be done respectfully and with permission. You will also enjoy the changing scenery, including open plains, volcanic highlands and wide views across the Ngorongoro landscape.

Day 3
Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park
Wake up in the heart of the Serengeti and enjoy breakfast before starting a full day of wildlife viewing. The Seronera area is one of the most productive wildlife regions in the park because the Seronera River attracts animals throughout the year. Your driver guide will choose the best routes based on recent sightings, road conditions and wildlife movement. You may encounter prides of lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, crocodiles and, with luck, leopards or cheetahs. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park, allowing more time for game viewing without returning to camp. In the afternoon, continue exploring the plains and rocky kopjes before beginning the drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The road may be dusty and bumpy, but it offers more chances to see wildlife along the way. Dinner will be served at Ngorongoro Public Campsite, where you will camp near the crater rim in cooler highland conditions.

Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater to Mto wa Mbu

Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast at Ngorongoro Public Campsite, drive to the crater entrance and descend approximately 600 metres to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater. This large volcanic caldera supports one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Tanzania. During the game drive, you may see lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, gazelles and many bird species. The crater is also one of the best places in northern Tanzania to search for the rare black rhino, although sightings cannot be guaranteed. A picnic lunch will be served at a designated area, often near a hippo pool, before continuing the game drive across the crater floor. In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and drive back toward Mto wa Mbu. On arrival at Fanaka Campsite, you can rest, take a shower and enjoy dinner prepared by the safari chef. Overnight will be in a tent with shared campsite facilities.

Day 5
Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast at Fanaka Campsite, depart for Lake Manyara National Park for the final game drive of your shared camping safari. The park is smaller than Tarangire and Serengeti, but it offers a wide variety of habitats, including groundwater forest, open grassland, woodland and the lake shore. Wildlife may include elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, baboons, blue monkeys, hippos and many bird species. Lake Manyara is especially known for its large troops of baboons and rich birdlife. Tree climbing lions are associated with the park, but sightings are rare and cannot be guaranteed. Your driver guide will explore the best available routes based on conditions and wildlife activity. After a picnic lunch and the final game drive, leave the park and return to Arusha. Arrival time depends on traffic and park departure time. The safari ends in Arusha, where you will be dropped at an agreed central location or transferred according to your confirmed arrangements.
