The Alto de Letras Express covers 167+ km and 3,800 m of elevation across 3 days. It is the full all-inclusive Alto de Letras experience — airport transfers, premium bike, full kit, daily sport massage, bilingual guide, support vehicle, and mechanic — compressed into a format for cyclists who cannot take a full week.

This is not an abbreviated version of the Challenge. The support structure is identical. The riding is demanding. Day 2 is the main summit attempt. The difference is duration: 3 days instead of 7, 167+ km instead of 285+ km.

What to expect

3 days, 2 nights cycling tour, covering 167 kilometers, including climbing the legendary, world-renowned Alto de Letras as the central attraction.

What you will do:

Day 1

Cyclists: Pick up at your hotel in Bogota (around 7 am) and kick off with your first ride: Alto de La Tribuna to Cambao. A strong first day to settle into the rhythm, with full support, hydration, and recovery waiting in Mariquita.

All travelers: Optional visit to the Armero Tragedy Site, where you'll learn the story of the 1985 Nevado del Ruiz disaster and see the memorials that honor the lives lost — an impactful, reflective experience.

Accommodation: Premium villa in Mariquita

Day 2
Cyclists: The main event. Ride Mariquita to Alto de Letras. A true rite of passage — paced, supported, and unforgettable.
