Hosted at a professional NYC rehearsal studio, this show takes place within an authentic music industry setting.

Please ring for Michiko Studios to enter the building and take elevator to 7th floor. The host will meet the guest at the studio lobby and escort the group into the studio at the scheduled start time.

What to expect

Guests arrive at a working New York City rehearsal studio and take their seats for an intimate piano-and-voice performance. After a brief introduction, Ernie Savage performs iconic and forgotten ballads by legendary songwriters such as Paul Simon, Elton John, Don McLean, Jimmy Webb, Harry Chapin, and others from the golden era of singer-songwriting. Short stories and anecdotes are shared between songs, offering insight into the music and its origins. Guests listen just feet from the piano, with time at the end for conversation and questions.
