    Drive from previous stop: 60 minutes Enjoy the silence of Jozankei while riding a rafting boat and down the Toyohira River in winter. You can see wildlife, and icefalls depending on the time, and yes you really enjoy a unique winter scenery. Have a wonderful time with your nature guide.

    Hoheikyo Onsen

    Drive from previous stop: 10 minutes It is one of the few places in Japan offering gensen kakenagashi—100% natural hot spring water flowing directly from the source without added heat or water. Its enormous open-air bath, among the largest in Japan, can accommodate up to 200 bathers. In winter, the baths transform into a magical yukimi-buro (snow-viewing bath). Steam drifts into the crisp air as guests soak in mineral-rich waters surrounded by snow-covered forests.
