After breakfast, begin a full-day exploration of Fes, one of Morocco’s most fascinating Imperial Cities. Enter the historic medina through Bab Bou Jeloud and explore its maze of narrow streets, traditional souks and lively squares.
Visit the historic Bou Inania Madrasa, an exceptional example of Moroccan architecture, featuring beautifully decorated zellige tiles, carved wood and traditional stucco work.
Discover the area around Al Quaraouiyine, one of the most important historic centers of learning in the Muslim world, and explore the surrounding streets and traditional artisan quarters.
Visit the traditional tanneries of Fes and observe the centuries-old methods used by local craftsmen to process and dye leather.
After breakfast, depart Fes and travel through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known for its distinctive architecture, green surroundings and alpine atmosphere.

Important: This is a long day, so I would leave the Dadès Valley early, around 7:30–8:00 AM. The combination of Aït Ben Haddou + Ounila Valley + Telouet makes the route much more scenic than going directly to Marrakech.

Continue to the Koutoubia, Marrakech’s most famous mosque and one of the city’s main landmarks. Enjoy a walk through the surrounding gardens and take photos of the historic minaret.
Take a relaxing break at Le Jardin Secret, a beautifully restored traditional riad garden hidden inside the Medina.
Return to Jemaa el-Fna in the late afternoon to experience the square as it comes alive with food stalls, musicians and local entertainment.
Enjoy your final breakfast at the hotel or riad. Depending on your departure time, you will have some free time to relax or explore Marrakech before your private transfer to Marrakech Menara Airport for your flight home.
