What to expect

Most travelers leave Korea without truly understanding
what they saw. This experience changes that.

In 90 minutes at Wayujae — steps from Gyeongbokgung
Palace — you'll get the cultural context that makes
every temple, market, and street in Seoul suddenly make
sense. Think of it as the orientation Seoul never gave
you.

1) Cultural Stories (30 min)
Your Wayujae host reveals the hidden stories behind
Korean clothing, architecture, and everyday objects
that no guidebook covers. How do you read Korean folk paintings? What do the patterns in palaces actually mean? You'll
leave with answers — and a whole new way of seeing
the city. Take home a curated booklet to keep the
stories with you.

2) Tasting Experience (45 min)
Seated on a traditional Korean stool, taste around 10
types of handmade Korean snacks — seaweed chips, rice
cakes, honey, and more — paired with one of 6
handcrafted seasonal teas you choose yourself. Every
item is explained. You won't just taste it; you'll
understand it.

3) Browse (15 min)
Explore Wayujae's collection of Korean cultural
products — each one carrying a story worth taking home.

Maximum 6 guests. Intimate by design.
