    Go deeper into one of the most productive habitats near Bogotá. This 8–10 hour route visits a private humid Andean forest reserve near Bojacá, Cundinamarca, home to hummingbirds, tanagers and understory specialists. The route is designed by Faunaris biologists and led by a Faunaris guide, who chooses stops by bird behavior, forest structure and light. The walk is short but active (up to 2 km, Level 2 of 5), with time for patient observation, photography and feeders that draw key species. A boxed breakfast eases the early start, and the checklist review happens over lunch. Like every Faunaris experience, it supports the local community. Species with real possibility here include Collared Inca, Golden-bellied Starfrontlet, Long-tailed Sylph, and Pale-naped, Grey-browed and Chestnut-capped Brushfinches. No species sighting is guaranteed. We provide expert method and habitat access, not a promised outcome. Times may shift with traffic, weather, or wildlife activity.
