Unlike a typical activity stop, this is an engaging and educational pearl experience that highlights the natural beauty and individuality of each pearl.
Participants take part in a hands-on activity, selecting an Akoya pearl oyster from a pool and witnessing the reveal of a genuine pearl inside.
The experience is completed with guided insights into the pearl’s defining features — size, colour, shape, surface and lustre — supported by interactive touchscreens.

What to expect

Begin this truly unique experience by fishing for a pearl oyster from our pool, set beneath a spectacular pearl tree. Using a net, you’ll choose your oyster and watch as it’s opened to reveal your beautiful, real pearl inside.
After the reveal, you’ll receive a personalised certificate and discover your pearl’s unique characteristics — size, colour, shape, surface and lustre — with guidance from our friendly team. Multilingual interactive touchscreens are also available to help you explore what makes each pearl truly unique.
At the end of the experience, you may choose to have your pearl set into a piece of jewellery for an additional cost, creating a lasting keepsake of your visit.
This experience uses real oyster shells with a specially created setting inside, without the use of live oysters.
