I will pick you up at your hotel or Airbnb anywhere in Prague. After your booking, I will confirm the exact pickup location and time with you.
The recommended departure time is 7:30 AM to fully enjoy this 12-hour journey at a relaxed pace.
I will meet you at the designated location approximately 15 minutes before departure, holding a sign with your name for easy identification.
Your trip concludes with a direct drop-off at your hotel, private apartment, or the airport terminal in Vienna. Your driver will assist you with your luggage and ensure you are at the correct entrance. Please provide your specific drop-off address or flight details when booking.
Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Prague to Český Krumlov, one of the most beautiful UNESCO towns in the Czech Republic. We will pick you up at your accommodation or another pre-arranged meeting point in Prague. Your driver-guide will arrive approximately 15 minutes before departure and will be holding a sign with your name and the company logo for easy identification. For the best experience, we recommend departing at 7:30 AM, allowing you to fully enjoy this 12-hour journey at a relaxed pace.
Guided Walk (1 hour): We'll start by the castle and stroll through its courtyards and terraces while taking in some of the best views of Český Krumlov. Then we'll cross the river and explore the fairytale medieval center before reaching the main square. Free Time (1 hour): Enjoy Český Krumlov at your own pace. You'll have a full hour to grab a coffee or lunch by the river, shop for unique souvenirs, or simply wander through the charming little streets and discover your own favorite corners of this magical town.
Option A: Visit to Melk Abbey Spend up to 2 hours at one of Europe's most beautiful Baroque monasteries. Visit its famous library, elegant halls, and gardens overlooking the Danube. At the gateway to the UNESCO-listed Wachau Valley, Melk Abbey is one of Austria's most iconic landmarks. Depending on timing, you'll explore the abbey with an audio guide or join a regular guided tour. Option B: Visit to Mauthausen Memorial Spend 2 hours at one of Europe's most important WWII memorial sites and former concentration camps. With the included audio guide, you'll learn about its history and gain a deeper understanding of this place of remembrance. UNESCO Wachau Valley & Dürnstein (for everyone) After your chosen stop, we'll drive through the UNESCO-listed Wachau Valley to the riverside town of Dürnstein. You'll have 1 hour of free time to stroll through medieval streets, enjoy views of the castle ruins, and perhaps try local wines or apricot specialties.
After a day full of history, beautiful scenery, and unforgettable experiences, we'll continue to Vienna. Relax and enjoy the final views of the Austrian countryside before arriving in Austria's elegant capital. I'll drop you off at your hotel, accommodation, or another convenient location within Vienna city.
