Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Prague to Karlstejn Castle, one of the Czech Republic's most iconic medieval landmarks, founded by Emperor Charles IV in the 14th century. During the guided tour, you'll discover its richly decorated interiors and hear stories about kings, emperors, and the treasures once kept within its walls. After the visit, you'll have some free time to enjoy the atmosphere of the village below the castle before continuing the journey.
Next, we'll head to Rückl Glassworks in Nižbor to discover one of the Czech Republic's most celebrated glassmaking traditions. During a guided tour, you'll see skilled craftsmen at work, learn about the art of hand-cut crystal, and gain insight into a family tradition passed down for generations. After the tour, you'll have time to browse the gallery and shop for unique Czech crystal pieces.
Our final stop is the legendary Pilsner Urquell Brewery in Plzeň, the birthplace of the world's first golden lager. During the guided tour, you'll learn about the history of Czech brewing, visit the historic cellars, and discover how one beer inspired countless others around the world. After the tour, we'll return comfortably to Prague, bringing an unforgettable day of Czech traditions to a close.
