Step behind the barriers and into one of Stirling Castle’s most exclusive and historically charged spaces — a privilege reserved solely for guests of Cruachan Tours.

You will dine in the former personal kitchen of King James III, now the Officers’ Mess of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Museum. This closed-off section of the castle is completely inaccessible to the general public. Here, within these ancient walls, Her Majesty the Queen and a succession of distinguished figures have taken their places at the table. You will follow in their footsteps.

What to expect

We will have a walk through the main part of the Castle before Heading to the Argyll and Sutherland Museum where we will have lunch then a personal tour of the Museum before a free period to explore the castle.
