2Kawagoe Ichibangai Shopping Street
Kawagoe is a charming historic town that can be easily reached from Tokyo, offering visitors the chance to experience traditional Japanese streets, culture, and history. Known as “Little Edo,” Kawagoe has preserved the atmosphere of Japan’s Edo period, when Tokyo was known as Edo. One of the town’s biggest highlights is its Kurazukuri district, where traditional warehouse-style buildings with dark walls and tiled roofs line the streets.
