    Ancient Mines and Washing Pits: We will walk among the ruins of the ancient silver mining and processing facilities. You will see up close the ancient ore washing facilities and the tanks, a marvel of ancient engineering that provided Athens with the wealth to build the Acropolis

    "Cavity Chaos": Your adventure begins at one of Attica’s most impressive natural landmarks. A gigantic chasm, 55 meters deep, created by the collapse of a cave ceiling. The view from the edge is literally breathtaking and offers the perfect 'local secret' for photos.

    Mine galleries and shafts: throughout your tour, we will have the opportunity to see the entrances to ore mines and approach them from a safe distance to get a sense of how miners worked in those days.

    The History of Agia Triada: We will stop at the historic village of Agia Triada.     Flora and Scents: As we cross the Sounia Plateau, we will encounter the unique vegetation of the Forest. We will see the imposing Aleppo pine (Pinus halepensis), centuries-old olive trees, as well as the characteristic maquis vegetation of the Attica region, filled with the scents of wild thyme, lavender, and rosemary.
