This is not a spa or a shared public sauna. Hosted at a family homestead in Swedish Lapland, the experience offers exclusive access to a traditional wood-fired sauna for your group only. Combining local sauna traditions, complete privacy, and authentic Lapland flavors, it provides a genuine and peaceful alternative to commercial wellness facilities.

From Kiruna: Drive on the E10 and turn at the sign for Kauppinen. Follow the village road until you see a large red house on your right with a reflector in a tree. Turn in and park behind the house. From Jukkasjärvi: The red house will be on your left.

What to expect

Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed and introduced to the sauna experience and traditions of Swedish Lapland. The private sauna is reserved exclusively for your group, allowing you to relax at your own pace in a peaceful setting.

Before the sauna session begins, your host will explain the sauna ritual and provide a simple sauna guide card with instructions to follow throughout the experience. After the introduction, guests will enjoy the sauna privately without the host present.

Organic sauna and wellness products are provided to enhance the experience. Between sauna sessions, guests can cool down outdoors and, during winter, enjoy the refreshing contrast of the Arctic air and snow before returning to the warmth of the sauna.

A small tasting board with selected Lapland delicacies is included, offering a light introduction to regional flavors from northern Sweden.

Guests are welcome to wash and freshen up in the sauna, so feel free to bring a change of clean clothes if desired.
