Your adventure begins at 15:30 from M’Hamid El Ghizlane, with a scenic 4x4 drive westward across vast desert plains where silence stretches to the horizon. Gradually, the rocky hamada landscapes give way to softer terrain as you approach the Lagrara Animal Sanctuary, a remarkable wildlife haven hidden in the arid wilderness. After exploring the sanctuary and learning about its ecosystem, enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch outdoors near the ostriches, surrounded by open skies and untouched desert scenery. Fresh salads, slow-cooked tajine, and homemade bread are served in a simple yet authentic setting. In the afternoon, continue deeper into the Sahara as golden sand gradually replaces stone. By late afternoon, arrive at your sauvage camp, set among the rolling dunes. Dinner is served under the stars, followed by a campfire and traditional desert rhythms. Here, you will be welcomed by a nomad family and invited to share tea in their traditional tent. Lunch will take place at the sacred oasis of Oum Lâalag, offering a truly authentic moment in a peaceful and unique setting. In the afternoon, continue your journey toward the magnificent Erg Chegaga dunes, home to Morocco’s highest and most impressive sand formations. As you approach, the dunes rise dramatically, creating a breathtaking panorama. The evening unfolds at your sauvage camp, where your tents are once again set up by our team in a secluded location. Enjoy a refined dinner, a warm fire, soft traditional music, and exceptional stargazing under one of the clearest skies in the world.
