This Prague aviation tour offers a guided introduction to Czech aviation history inside the National Technical Museum’s Transportation Hall. The experience focuses on selected aircraft and key stories, making the exhibition easier to understand for curious travelers, aviation enthusiasts and visitors who want to see a different side of Prague.
We look at historic Czech aircraft, selected foreign aircraft connected to Czech aviation, and the development of flight through technology, design, wartime experience and peacetime innovation. The tour begins near the Winged Lion Memorial in Malá Strana, dedicated to Czechoslovak RAF pilots and personnel of the Second World War, before continuing on foot to the museum, where the aviation story continues through the machines and the people behind them.

Meeting and pickup
We meet at the Winged Lion Memorial in Klárov Park next to Malostranská metro (Line A). The large bronze lion statue is clearly visible. Please arrive 5–10 minutes before the start time. If you are late, contact the host; you may be able to join the group at the museum.
The tour ends at the National Technical Museum in Prague 7, close to tram connections and within walking distance of the city centre. Guests can also enjoy a pleasant walk back through Letná, with beautiful views of Prague.
