What makes this experience special is that every outing is different. Instead of always following the same route, your team selects each day the best route of the Ebro Delta according to wind, currents and water conditions. This allows us to paddle through the quietest and most beautiful places at the moment. During the activity you will not only go kayaking : you will discover the history, fauna, ecosystems and local culture of the Delta with guides who live and work here. It’s an authentic experience to get to know the Delta from within, away from crowded routes and accessible even if it’s your first time kayaking.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
The center of Ebresurfers is at the junction between Passeig Reinosa Street and Hernan Cortes Street. There you will see a large poster of ebresurfers and a blue hut.
What to expect
Once prepared with the material, we will start the route by navigating different areas of the Ebro Delta. Depending on the conditions of the day, the route can run through natural lagoons, quiet canals between rice paddies, areas near the mouth of the Ebro River or areas around Buda Island.
During the tour the guide will share explanations about the Delta ecosystem, its geological formation, the fauna and flora of the natural park and the local culture linked to rice cultivation. It is common to observe migratory birds and other features of this unique landscape.
The route takes place at a relaxed pace, with short stops to observe the surroundings, take pictures and enjoy the scenery.
At the end, we will return to the starting point after having lived a complete experience of nature, soft sport and discovery of the Ebro Delta.
