Live a unique oenological experience in an urban cellar in the heart of Darwin in Bordeaux. This activity immerses you in a participatory workshop, where you become an actor in the creation of a wine.

Accompanied by Maxime, oenologist, and Annaëlle, assistant cellar master, you discover the behind-the-scenes winemaking during a visit to the cellar and a tasting of cuvées accompanied by a cheese board.

Scout through the characteristics of the main Bordeaux grape varieties to understand what makes the region’s wines rich: blending.

What makes this experience special is that you move from theory to practice. From different monovines, you create your own blend, bottle your wine and leave with your own personalised cuvée.

Between pedagogy, tasting and creation, this immersion in an urban cellar in the heart of Bordeaux offers an original and interactive approach to the world of wine.

What to expect

Do you dream of unlocking the secrets of the assembly?
Become a winemaker for a day and make your own wine!

Within the Darwin space, a hotbed of Bordeaux’s ecological transition to the right bank, you will be immersed in the world of wine for a few hours with Maxime, oenologist and Annaëlle, assistant cellar master, in an urban cellar.

You will start with a tour of the winery, with explanations of the winemaking process and the peculiarities of this vintage, with a tasting of the different wines being prepared accompanied by a cheese board.

This will be followed by an introduction to the peculiarities of the main varieties of Bordeaux appellation, which makes their typicality to better understand what contributes to the complexity of Bordeaux wines: blending.

With different monovines, you will therefore create THE wine that will be to your liking, bottle it and leave with it!
