Step aboard our vintage 1978 Ford Transit motorhome "Parreirinha" and discover the Ribatejo region in a relaxed, authentic, and charming way. The tour is completely tailor-made and can take you to iconic locations in the region, such as Almourol Castle, always at the calm pace of this land.

To make the experience even more special, you can include a wine tasting at a local winery and/or lunch at a traditional restaurant, where you can taste the famous Almeirim's Stone Soup ("Sopa da Pedra de Almeirim").

It's an experience designed for everyone: families, friends, couples—and even your pets, because we are pet-friendly. There are no age restrictions, just one small request: treat our motorhome with care… after all, she's already a 48-year-old lady with many stories to tell!

    Castelo de Almourol

Located on a small, steep island in the middle course of the Tagus River, Almourol Castle is one of the most emblematic medieval military monuments of the Christian Conquest and a major symbol of the Templar presence in Portugal. We will stop here to admire the beauty of this structure and the surrounding landscape, and take photos.

Escaroupim is a typical fishing village, formed in the mid-1930s by fishermen from "Praia da Vieira", who seasonally came to the Tagus River for winter fishing campaigns, especially for shad, seeking sustenance for their numerous families, returning to Praia da Vieira in the summer. Many of these fishermen stayed along the riverbanks, and thus formed small fishing villages. In these villages, the houses are made of wood, painted in bright colors and built on stilts, so as to be protected from frequent floods. In the riverside village of Escaroupim, we can stop to admire the landscape and take photos, go birdwatching, and if the visitors wants a break for a picnic or lunch, there is a picnic area and a panoramic restaurant with a natural viewpoint over the Tagus River.
