Accompanied by an expert Guide, you will walk along the famous elevated corridor that connects the Vatican to Castel Sant'Angelo, used over the centuries by the popes as an escape route in times of danger. Walking along the Passetto, you will relive compelling historical episodes, including the escape of Pope Clement VII during the Sack of Rome in 1527.

The tour continues inside Castel Sant'Angelo, an ancient imperial tomb transformed over time into a fortress, papal residence and prison. You will explore its history-rich halls, papal apartments and panoramic terraces, from which you can enjoy breathtaking views of the eternal city.
