Meeting and pickup
From Alta Lane, turn right on Alta Pl. Stay on the asphalt road until you go through the gates with the sign: Welcome to A Simpler Time. Continue until you arrive at the circular driveway and park your car on the outside edge of the driveway, and we will meet you there with our greeter dogs!

Visit a friendly petting zoo where families can meet a variety of heritage and miniature farm animals: gentle Kunekune pigs, playful Nigerian Dwarf goats, Baby Doll and Friesian sheep, Highland cows, bunnies, and fluffy Silkie and Polish chickens, all in a safe, interactive setting. Continue with a hands‑on alpaca tour—feed the calm herd, learn about their unique behavior, fiber production, and sustainable farming, and see how fleece becomes luxurious yarn. A mill demonstration walks you through every step from washing and carding to spinning, plying, steaming, coning, and dyeing. The adjoining boutique showcases soft alpaca goods—from sweaters, socks, scarves, and shawls to blankets, teddy bears, and plush farm‑animal toys—proving alpaca is today’s affordable cashmere.
