Travelers will leave busy Marrakech for a relaxed day on Morocco’s Atlantic Coast. The trip starts around 08:00 with pickup in Marrakech. You travel by comfortable shared transport toward Essaouira. The drive takes about 3 hours and includes 3 short stops. One stop is at a Berber women’s argan oil association, where travelers can see how traditional argan oil is made. Once in Essaouira, travelers have free time to explore the old Medina, local souks, Moulay El Hassan Square, the jeweler’s quarter, and the city’s ocher-colored walls. Travelers can also visit the fishing port, see the blue boats, walk near the beach, and enjoy the calm seaside atmosphere. There is time to stop for a fresh fish lunch at a local restaurant. In the late afternoon, travelers meet the driver and return to Marrakech, arriving around 19:00.
